Accessible Entries:

There is one accessible entrance with an automatic door on the right hand (southeast) side of the building facing from Rose Street.


The closest accessible parking is adjacent to the Agronomy greenhouses next to the Biological Sciences Building. This area is reached from Kentucky Clinic Drive (from Washington Ave.) by turning left at the four-way stop. Alternative parking can be found at Parking Structure No.2 at the corner of Rose St. and Sports Center Drive.

Exterior Access Route:

The accessible entrance is reached from the sidewalk along Rose Street. If traveling from the parking area, follow the sidewalk along the clinic parking structure and then along the right hand side of the Pharmacy building.

Interior Access Route:

Inside the accessible entrance, turn left, and the elevators to all floors are on the right hand side.

Rest Rooms:

Pass the elevators and go through the double doors (also on the right. The restrooms are on the right once you are through the doors. There is only one stall (it is a one person bathroom) and it is accessible.


The elevators are visible to the left of the entrance. There is Braille on the outside (indicating the floor level) and inside of the elevator. The door signals are audible but the emergency intercom is not usable without voice communication and is not identified by Braille.

Other Notable Aspects:

There are water fountains located next to the restrooms but they do not meet ADA guidelines for height. There are no public phones in the building.
