Accessible Entries: |
There are two accessible exterior entries. Adjacent to the north side of McVey is a ramp to an entrance to the ASTeCC building that provides access to the interior of McVey. The south side entrance from Funkhouser Drive is a ramp to a basement entrance and elevator. |
Parking: |
The parking lot behind the Gillis building has 13 accessible spaces. Two of these are van accessible. There are also parking options inside Gate #3, along Library and Funkhouser Drives, with a total of 14 spaces. There are also four spaces behind Funkhouser Building (#54), 9 spaces behind the Slone Building (#53), and 11 spaces are located around the Mineral Industries Building (#51). All spaces require a UK disabled parking permit. |
Exterior Access Route: |
From Funkhouser Dr. and Graham Ave., there are sidewalks leading to a ramp to the automatic door at the side of ASTeCC (north side of McVey). From Library Dr., take the sidewalk beside Kastle and McVey Halls to the ASTeCC. A ramp from Funkhauser Drive provides access to the basement level entrance and elevator. |
Interior Access Route: |
After entering the ASTeCC Building, McVey Hall is located to the left of the corridor. All floors are accessible. |
Rest Rooms: |
Accessible rest rooms are available at the north end of the building in the adjacent ASTeCC building. |
Elevators: |
An elevator is available on the south side of McVey. The most accessible elevator is in the adjacent ASTeCC building on the north side of McVey. |
