Accessible Entries:

There are two automatic doors that provide basement level access. The southeastern entrance faces the parking area behind the Student Center. The northwest entrance faces Limestone St. A ramp provides access to a manual door of the first floor gymnasium.

Parking:

There are two van-accessible parking spaces in the parking lot located near the building's southeast entrance. Other parking options can be found in the Student Center parking lot.

Exterior Access Route:

The southeast entrance to the building is easily accessed from the adjacent parking lot. A sidewalk network provides access from Avenue of Champions and Upper Street.

Interior Access Route:

The basement of Alumni Gym can be accessed from either the north or south side. If using the south entrance from the parking lot, users will access a landing. A lift is located directly inside the landing entrance. Users must pull open the lift door to use the lift. The lift travels approximately 2 feet to the basement level. From this point, the person has interior access to the basement north-south corridor.

Rest Rooms:

There are men's and women's accessible rest rooms with automatic doors at the basement level. The women's locker room is also accessible. The men's locker room provides only access to the lockers, and must be entered through the Body Shop workout area.

Elevators:

There is no elevator in this building. A lift provides basement level access from the south entrance. Anyone wanting to get to the first floor, gym level from the basement must exit the building to do so.
