Mining and Mineral Resources Building

Accessible Entries:

There are automatic doors at the north, front entrance (Rose St.) and south, rear entrance (Columbia Ave.) of the building.

Parking:

There are 5 accessible spaces located at the rear (south side) of the building adjacent to the guard booth for the Faculty Club parking lot.

Exterior Access Route:

Proceed from the parking spaces along the sidewalk to the rear entrance. If accessing the building from Rose St, there is a passenger drop off between Mining and Minerals and the Faculty Club. Proceed from the drop off up the ramp on the front (north side) of the building to the automatic door entrance.

Interior Access Route:

Both entrances open into the main lobby (atrium). There is access to all four floors by elevator. There are bar-operated fire doors along the corridors.

Rest Rooms:

Rest rooms on all four floors are accessible. They all have a handle-operated doors, some of which may have high tension. First floor rest rooms are located across from room 108.

Elevators:

Elevators are accessed from the main lobby.

Inquire at room 104 or 101, or call in advance at 859-257-5500.

Other Notable Aspects:

Some public meetings are held in room 102 off the main lobby. Mining classrooms are located on the first floor hallway, and on the second floor to the left of the elevator.
