NOTE: This well-by-well production data search is hosted by KGS as a convenience for accessing KY Division of Oil and Gas Data, which is the agency responsible for collecting and hosting this data. At this time, the production data provided on this website for individual wells is available from 1997 to 2017. Production data is held confidential for one full calendar year and is made public as soon as it is available after that date. The most up-to-date well production data can be found at the KY DOG website. IF YOU GET A DOWNLOAD ERROR, PLEASE USE THE KY DOG WEBSITE TO DOWNLOAD ALL WELL PRODUCTION DATA BY YEAR. The most current production numbers are available on the KY DOG website https://eec.ky.gov/Natural-Resources/Oil-and-Gas/Resources/Pages/Production-Reports.aspx.

Data download of either gas or oil production data is a delimited text file or excel file (make selection above), and includes all wells and all years of available data for the selected geographic area and year(s). Large datasets (large counties) may take several minutes to download. YOU MAY NEED TO LIMIT YOUR DOWNLOAD BY YEAR OR RANGE OF YEARS IF YOU EXPERIENCE A NETWORK OR TIMEOUT ERROR. Or use the KY DOG website to download data by year.

If you would like to download production data for specific wells or using other criteria, you can use the KGS Oil and Gas Well Search. From there you can either view and download individual well production data, or download data for all the wells returned in your search (a download link is provided at the top of the results page).
